The Accies' ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of defeat knows no bounds.To a backdrop of pouring and rain and the complete indifference of the massed ranks of underemployed Palace staff, the Accies learned of their fate. At 8pm,the match against MHP was cancelled. The computer said 'No football' - And when the Palace ZX Spectrum says no, it means no - Hopes that recent computer failings had been remedied by an upgrade to 48k were dashed, and MHP and Accies players trudged off to the pub for some restorative booze.
