Once again we have had to select a squad from 18 players which has its challenges but shows that there is a fantastic committment to playing for the Accies. 

I have explained to all concerned why they have missed out this week, but please be aware of the critia for selection- commitment, attendance at socials including the pub and all events organised by the club, an active participant in the ethics of the club and the team mentality I keep banging out about! We are a team so we should have each other's backs on and off the pitch. 

Adherence to the above will stand you in good stead for your future selection so the ball is in all of your courts!!

The magnificent seven!

What a team performance that was. 

We started off slowly but soon got up a good head of steam wth Simon's excellent opportunist goal being a reward for all that hard graft and skilful play.  We kept the pressure up steadily throughout the game and with Lee's anchor role at the back we had a foundation that led to an increasing confidence throughout the pitch.

The belief that we were working together and knew that there would be cover really made a difference. The score line reflected not only our clinical finishing but also our ability to prise open their defence with precision passing.

It was a pleasure to watch and must give us all hope and belief in the values of collective  endeavour and 100% effort.

Fantastic stuff and more of the same next week please.
